Who I Am:
Hi! My name is Keri Silverstein and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am your passenger (with you in the driver’s seat) helping you navigate through life’s obstacles and challenges. I am your cheerleader. I am your challenger. I am your advocate. At times, I may lead you, at other times, I may follow your lead. No matter what though, I am here for you and working for you to help you find your calm while finding yourself.
My Style of Therapy:
I use a conversational, laid back style mixed with compassion and a bit of humor to help you through your therapeutic journey. In my experience, this style of therapy helps clients feel more comfortable because it strengthens the bond and relationship between us. The more comfortable you feel, the more likely you will be to open up in the session, and the more you open up, the more information I have to better help you.
How Do I Help?
Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we will work together to identify unhelpful thought patterns that impact your behaviors, actions, relationships and feelings. Once these are identified, we will then help you learn new, healthy ways of thinking about the world around you. By changing your thoughts, we transform your outlook on life and of yourself to one that is more positive and more productive.
